I am having the same problem it either fails to read or fails to decode vin. I have to select manually. -

Hello !!! Please do not advise people to reset they tool if you don't know what is the problem..................!!!!Here is my advise to all those who have any problems with your tool please do not reset the tool if your update subscription is expired as once you have reset all the software will be deleted and you will not be able to download them again........Best thing is to do full auto scan and send the log files from your tool to tech support explaining them what the problem is attache some screen shots so, they can understand the problem......Mind well not all cars vin numbers are read able sometimes you have to select them manually........
