    Just bought the Maxicom mk908 and was wondering when the vci powers up is it normal for the red error light to light up for 5-7 seconds then turn off?  The system works great not problems, I'm just wondering if thats normal and I dont have a failing vci.

     I think the error light stays ON till when the VCI is not connected to your tool but, once its connected it goes OFF so, that's the sign telling you that now the interface is connected.................
