Hello I have a Maxisys scanner tool and I am trying to bleed the brakes on my truck. For some reason I cannot get the scanner to verify/find the VIN to the truck and it says unable to communicate to the control unit. I put in the VIN manually and still says that. Also there are three lights on the VCI. Two of the three light up and the third (middle) light will light up intermittently as it's scanning for the VIN. But it doesn't stay solid. I have replaced the ABS Modulator as well as the entire brake lines. I have a 2000 Silverado.
