    is this the same scanner as the MS509 ? i was told by Harbor Freight to come here for latest software ect... i lost my software cd. i did download Maxilink v 1.08 is this the right software? any info appreciated,

     Yes, its prototype is MS509. You can find the update pack in this site. Pls read the update instructions carefully before you  do the update.

     does not recognize serial number..cannot register or update
