how long does it take to update a maxisys the first time?

Just got a new Maxisys, charged it up turned it on and hit the update button, it`s being 2 hours the screen still says LOADING , HOW LONG DOES THIS TAKE?

Hello it does not take that long at all there maybe something wrong with your internet
reset your router and your tool and try again let me know how it went -

Yes after full charge I registered on my pc then hit download haven't retried with reset connection, tried it with wy fi . do you think hard wire would be better for updates? Thanks for reply I`ll let you know. -

yes hard wire ethernet cable will be much better specially the for the first update since there are so many of them good luck -

Hey ede65 I got the scanner going, I called Tec support, found out it will not update if it doesn't have the latest O.S . version. I fixed that and it updated in good time. I really like this machine I rejected genesis touch and bosh for the MAXISYS so far I'm happy with the decision. I hope it's just as strong on domestics as it is on Asian/ European. -

yes I think it is very strong on usa domestic, besides nissan I mostly do domestic vehicles now o pre can bus system its not that strong on some makes this is why we all need to send our data logs so that the most important features get added fast if not they either don't added base on that no ones ask for it or we may waste our yearly update to get it and thank you for posting your results on how you fix the update issue cheers.
