How do I update my (software out of date) tool if there's not enough space to enter my account info???

I attempt to update the software on my 802 and what happens???... tells me that the account or password is incorrect... why?.. my account name is my email.. which is longer than the space allowed to enter my account,.. so mine is too long. I would love to use this tool I received today but,.. if I can't update,.. I can't use and it goes back Monday. -

he's posted this twice ede65 and has been answered he's using software off cd instead off the one off this site ie v6.13 which allows longer id but now sorted.

I think a lot off users are trying to run be for thy can walk ie trying updating immediately thy receive the tool a lot of problems on here seem to be to do with the update service there's a lot more info autel should be giving on this forum would save a lot off stress for some users -

yes gary you are absolutely right there is not enough info here and also tech support have been really busy lately there is a lot going on over there but it should be back to normal soon I hope mean while I do what i can -
