no shifting problems at allbut when gear put on 1 it shows no light in dash for 1p light okn light okr light ok3 ok2 ok1 no light in dashbut if you pull the transmission lever hard to 1 the light worksany thoughts

try adjusting it first. it should be located on the tranny leftside what year is this vehicle. check the cable it could be broken , also check motor and tranny mounts this can cause the the miss adjustment good luck. -

A man the trans is a 4L60-E it sounds like the sw on the linkage is either out of
ajustment ornot working right a new one is like $90.00 bucks -

thanks the cause was bad alignment on the switch every thing back to fine all leds let wth the P R N D 3 2 1 -

thats great but don't forget to check why it happen where the bolts loose did you check the mounts it does not go out of alignment by it self -

Check the bushing in the end of the shift cable.
