Read the maxiflash pro forum (J2534 device still not validated) post. It will fill you in on how the Maxisys J2534 passthru device has been a huge flop. -

I have used it to flash various modules on GM ,Chrysler, and Fords. I had to use oem
site and a windows pc. But it worked fine. But ypu have to have the j2534 adaptor
with the maxisys pro. -

I have also been able to configured the jbox and any other passthru device with the tis
2000 software if anyone is interested. You can flash all gm modules from 1992 till
2008. This software can be found on ebay or aobd2shop.com or obd16.com and many
other sites. -
