    I have no communication with the toyota corolla 1997, with the verus snapon if that happens

    I believe it only works from 98 or 99 and up. I know 97 is obd2 but for some reason our
    tools don't comunicate with this vehicles. I haven't worked on this model year for a
    long time so I don't know 100%.
