If possible, please datalog this and let me know the VIN.

  With a DS 708 , whether the car is auto ID'd or VIN entered manually at the start after communication . Every time you initially want to save a vehicle's scan results off a DS 708  to a file to be able to access later in playback to view or print, before it will save the results. I have to manually type in the VIN to do it, even after the car was just auto ID'd because it don't insert the VIN automatically! Then I have to drag the keyboard down out of the way to type name. The name of the previously saved customer always appears and can only be deleted by repeatedly tapping the BS key deleting one letter of name at a time. It is BS (LOL) and getting pretty old. My updates expired in August 2014. My unit is in English language but does have Chinese coverage where other DS 708s here in the USA do not seem to include Chinese cars .  System Program Version :V6.31 Firmware Version :V10.20 Hardware Version:V3.60
