How ridiculous is it to update this product? I can find the update download pack but I can't find any software to actually get the software on to the product. Talk about making an easy job hard.And also when I try to register the product it isn't available in the drop down list. . ? -

Hello,AL539B is not a subscription based tool. You do not need to register. Please install Maxilink from CD unto your PC. (If you have Windows 8 or 8.1, you will need to disable driver enforcement signature).Then the update file is on this website. Support & Updates then Electrical Testers.You need to go in to Update Mode(Program Mode) -

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense then, it was my tool rep that told me if I register the product then I get free updates for 1 year. I guess all the updates are free then?Many thanks :) -

Hi, you can download the update pack under Downloads menu and MaxiLink II software on Autel website via below links. Please make sure that both aut and bin files in the update pack are updated completely via MaxiLink II. Thanks!
