    Can the maxisys pro do programming on chryslers?

     programming yes, flashing only on oem sites with a sub and a windows  laptop.

     ede65  when you say programming only yes   do you mean  you can program  a new ecm  with just the maxisys pro  getting the softwear  from  autel server site.

           no not from autel site, that will be flashing just like oem site and it is not available at this moment. when i say programming it just means programming like when you program a key,throttle body, crank sensor etc  that sort of thing is programming when you  write or update the main software of a ecm/pcm/tcm/ecu or any module/node  then that is flashing and only possible at tech-authority  or dealer connect (chrysler site) with a sub and the used of a windows laptop and the maxi-flash pro j2534 , not from the tablet.  if the tool can do it that will be programming or coding most likely, if you need to go on line it is most likely flashing. but keep in mind if every time the hardware's  main software needs to be written or re-written  to the module/ node is called flashing.
