Yesterday I got a Q7 2012 with CJTC engine actually there is a TPI for steering column but after tpi done I need to do basic setting of steering column control unit can do or not?any one did it?

i have done it with VCDS but not tried with maxisys.

Pedro you did not read my post carefully I never said steering angle sensor but I said
steering column control unit need basic settings need to be performed after done a tpi
# 2016997 because I did not see it in pdf of Audi may be it was before there but not
sure as tool is downgraded now

on refection my thoughts on all VAG group cars buy VCDS quite simply it works its data is correct it has excellent backup and support and will do the job 1st time

the best bit of all its really well priced it doesn't time out and you have a lifetime of support and updates for FREE.
