    I have a chevy optra/ daewoo lactti, 
when using GM software to reset idle is not working, daewoo software is not having idle relearn!! 
the engine is 1.6 
any idea about the correct engine choice or is it software problem??

    Can you please post the VIN or year?

    Check this http://www.ehow.com/facts_8099856_idle-relearn-procedures-chevy.html.

    Clean the Idle Air Control Valve (if present with Throttle Body) and check its proper operation before fixing the Throttle Bottle by turning Ignition ON and OFF (do not start the vehicle, cables should be connected). If IACV stucks then you will face Idle RPM problem.

     Idle relearn should be performed when the Engine is cold . Do Not perform it when the engine is warmed-up.

     Hi I am Mahmoud From Egypt and I have the same tool, same car and the same problem.
    Unfortunately this tool cannot calibrate the Throttle Body Neither the IAC , you have to go to someone who have a tool more advanced to change PCM values.
    if you reached any solution kindly let me know
