can you please explain procedure to run this test.fails every single car I try it on,always tells me ftp out of range.i use ford ids a lot and your setup does not explain when to have key on and when to have running,not sure what the issue is.autels evap fails and fords passes.added this question in a datalog 8-5-15 with no response.Tags: maxisys

Hello, we received your two datalogs on 2015-8-5 which are both for Power blance problem. And also I have sent email to you on 2015-8-12 to explain it. Have you received our email?Here is our reply to you in Email:The Part No. of this vehicle engine is EL3A-14C204-ASA, which is a brand new Part No. And there is no this new Part No. in our database in the current and previous versions (V5.00, V5.10 and V5.11), so our product including the previous versions can’t support the Power Balance for this vehicle (accurate to say “ it can’t support this new Part No.”).
As you said the Power Balance can work in V 5.1, we think it is the same vehicle model, but different engine Part No.
As for the Evap test, could you please re-do this function and upload us a new datalog so that we can locate this problem soon. Sorry we checked all your datalog under this serial No.V09G30302002, but no about the EVAP test.

If it didn't take days to send data log you could of had by now,still trying to send since
yesterday morning.fails every time with great internet connection. -

I wouldn't hold my breath? Hope you can roll back a few software versions. I kinda feel sorry for all the Engineers that probably at one time could sit back and copy all the OE software and just make sure the zeros and ones fall in the right places and make minor corrections with Gargle translator , but I'm thinking closed door negotiations between Autel and Ford has resulted in Autel having to demonstrate it has removed the software in contention with Ford as it was to rewrite a lot of OE software to make it unique to Autel and Gargle Translator ain't cutting it. Could you imagine triing to rewrite a Chinese University Student's thesis with Gargle Translator to make the paper your own? I'm sure if I tried , the result would offend someone.LOL -

Has found your datalog. We will correct it soon. BTW, do you have IDS to test this evap test on this car? Can it succeed? Or anybody test it using IDS? What's the result? -

yes i did have ids and it passed on same vehicle,sometimes i just try that test with maxysys to c if it can do it,but always fails saying ftp out of spec. -

I sent in two data logs today of 2010 f150 5.4l and I believe that it said test not proceed because ftp sensor out of range.
This vehicale did not have any codes
When running the evap system test the supplied ftp sensor data is near but not at zero,
I xperienced this a year before and after the new update which has been about a month now and had the vehicle to test
I think I am sure the functional test for purge and vent valves operarte correctly
Power Balance worked,stable,even with rpm increases,te4sted maybe 30 sec.
I would like this fixed as I have V 6.01
