Just bought this MD802 MaxiDiag elite all systems. It does find some few things from obdII, but doesn't find correct car under scan. If select correct model and year manual, it goes to the menu where you can select engine control or any other unit, but it won't find any of those. Do I need somekind of update or what's wrong?

Car is 2006 model with 2.8 crd engine.
    MD 802:
    FW is V1.01
    Soft version V4.40
    Hard V1.00

Help anyone? Really would need to measure air masses, boost, startup rail pressures and such. Still haven't found anything more in live data, than rpm :(

Igniotion has been on, and also car running. That won't help. Here's few things I can see with scanner: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lr0o66r21p5j31n/AABTIwUbvlBn0FlM6pOzUCgwa?dl=0

Tried all the years, from up to 2003 all the way to 2010. First years just keeps saying trying to initialilize connection, please wait. And nothing happens. Newer years just say system not supported,  perhaps ignition is not turned on.

Seems like this just don't work, the way it is marketed. Feels like money well spent :(

I am sorry, it is a little difficult to locate the problem. Do you have DS708 or maxisys to collect a datalog for our checking?

Nope. All I have is this md802 and md702. Is there any pc software I could use to do logs you need? Or if you have some sort of support here in Finland, where I could borrow these neccesary equipment or go to show this patient.

Check the PCM logo if it might be Daimler Benz  manufactured unit . Google the part # to check if  a number close to it might be shared with a model from Benz or Sprinter you could manually enter instead of Chrysler.  I had to select a similar Mercedes Benz model to communicate with a Chrysler Crossfire with my DS708 a few times.
