BMW X6 rear view camera issue

Good afternoon,
I have a BMW X6 with a faulty rear view camera.
Whenever I put the car in reverse the camera would not come on. So I decided to change the camera. After the change, the camera started working but whenever I tried to change from reverse to neutral or drive or park etc. the camera would not come off unless I switch off the pdc button. It's supposed to switch off automatically when changing transmission mode... Also, after an auto scan using my maxisys pro, I got this fault code - A811 transport mode active.
Can someone please help me understand this issue?

car issues can be posted on the MaxiSys in the MaxiFix part, this site mainly is for issues with the tools themselves.
but for starters: did you check wiring and did you check the original camera for working if you put on power manualy? Transport mode can be switched off, but question is, why is on in the first place if you did not do this yourself (did you wire in an original camera or can this be wired another way then the original one for instance).
