Hello. My new AL619 cannot connect to the ABS or SRS modules on my S60. I see many other Volvo owners with the same complaint and very few replies from support, other than "we have determined that there is a bug. We will fix it." I haven't seen any followups reporting success, and the last Volvo update appears to be from 2013.I need someone to tell me something to make me feel confident that this will be resolved, ever. I do think that this is a fine tool and would keep it if I felt that it were actually supported, but I have yet to read anything, anywhere about the great support and service they have received. If anyone has anything good to say, please do so. -

i just bought myself the same scanner AL619 but i cannot find Volvo in the menu of all car makers when choosing the SRS menu??
Firmware 1.17, sys software version 4.50
What do you mean by "last Volvo update appears to be from 2013"? Where do you find the Volvo update?

Volvo menu was installed by me today after updating the sd-card via Autel pc-suite. I think it was version 4.0 of Volvo
Unfortunately it could not identify my carmodel via VIN read, and if i specified the car model / year etc manually, i always
got a "make sure ignition is on and check cable" while trying the srs..
Have you had any luck in making it work for s60? -

Hi, when it cannot identify the car via VIN code, please try to input the VIN code manually to check the result. Thanks! -

I had the same issue and by trial and error I discovered by using the Autel update I could get the Volvo SRS menu on the AL619. But it will not work on any Volvo past 2012. -

There is a new update out, version 4.2, but it still has issues finding the SRS on a Volvo. I do not think the tech folks can figure this out. The issue has not been corrected in the last year. I am about to give up on Autel and look elsewhere! -

Hi, sorry that the current software version V4.20 on AL619 still cannot support Volvo after year 2012 so far. It is still under development and Volvo cars before year 2014 are estimated to be supported in the third quarter this year. Thanks! -

That being the case my new AL619 for my use on a 2013 model Volvo is just a piece of junk right now. So I just send it back. -
