    Hi,I have a 2007 e92 325 with steering locked on.I believe its a CAS problem.after some reading I understood there could be a software update to fix the problem.I tried the programming section in the maxisys pro but tells me its up to date.any ideas.thanks in advance

     If the vehicle battery was flat at some point than there are chances of Steering Lock losing its coding.................Have you tried re-synchronising the  ELV option...........I don't know if Maxisys has this option but, I am sure AVDI Tool can do this..........

     I am glad you got it sorted..............But, where was this ELV reset option..................? Can you please explain so other users can know next time................

    I think that is in Service menu>Traction>CAS> ELV reset
