VIN reading issue

    Vin function not reading on 2014 kia optima, can manually input vin and it pulls vehicle info. Doesn't communicate with any module but bcm. Will read newer model vehicles. Just performed latest software upgrade. Not sure if this is program issue from update, or if autel isnt up to date with kia software. Any help would be appreciated

     i don't think it's the new update i just looked at my 908 with the pre october software and it covers the optima until 2013 i am still reluctant to do the update just in case it messes up my tool how do you find the new update?

     I also update my 708 and dose the same the only car that car read is my honda civic.
    I put so many posts but no help or guide me how to fix this problem.
    Very disappointed.
