vag 505 why do i keep getting linking error

      2005 T28/174 VW transporter Ive just bought this Vag 505 tried to run it and is all am getting is linking error tried with ignition on ignition off engine running and even vehicle moving and its still the same. whats happening ? its been updated when i went on the AUTEL site has anyone any ideas.thanks

     Hi, please check if you can connect the device with other cars. If it cannot communicate with all cars then most possibly there should be problem with the main cable. Please change another cable to test again. If there is still problem with it, please let us know. Thanks!
