After checking, this vehicle is before Y2002, which is belong to old protocol. At present, for this old protocol, Maxisys can't support it. Sorry.

     Hello,
I updated to v.4.9. I was able to acces the key programming feature.
However, I couldn't read the BCM label number. How do I access this feature?
I went though NATS -> Pin read and  it gave a message about the "function not supported"
I also went through the BCM icon but it wouldn't communicate. This was a 2005 Maxima

BCM Lable Number? Have you checked it under the BCM module, there is version information under BCM. Is it you want?

The BCM number is a 5 digit code. For example 21C5D.  You can convert this code to find the PIN for programming. This number is printed on the BCM, but it is difficult to see without pulling apart the dash. The old version of the Nissan software would display this code. I haven't been able to read this number with the Maxisys.

" I looked up the vehicle coverage pdf on your website and it says there are no special functions for NATS."

I think if you read that on the current update  coverage PDF for nissan, then I would believe that key programming  falls under the definition as a special function and would not be available. The next Nissan or Infinity car I get I will check if my old DS 708 could do.  seems to me I had an old one like a 99 that I had to install a new ignition lock cylinder or something and a locksmith had to clone the old immobilizer key to the new key with a different cut.

I just did a 2005 Infinity G35. One issue is that there are two ways to select NATS. If you select NATS through the Diagnosis menu, it will not communicate. So, I went through Service to Nats immu and was able to read the BCM code and program the key. Hope this works on other models too.
