     2008 prius cranks and dies am using 908 pro to scan has code P0A0F but i cannot see the other 3 digit number that corresponds with this code. anyone have any suggestions

    Start with the basic tests.
    Check the 12 volt auxiliary starting battery.
    Check for any debris on the maf sensor.
    Clean the  throttle body, and do the throttle Body relearn.
    Check fuel pressure.

     Hi !! this DTC is correct; I will help you with the following information:

    DTC: P0A0F
    INF Code: 238
    DTC Detection condition: Engine does not start even though cranking it (transaxle input malfunction [engine system])
    Trouble Area: 
    Engine assembly  
    CKP Sensor
    HV transaxle assembly (shaft or gear)  
    Transmission input damper 
    Wire harness or connector  
    HV control ECU 

    I recommend checking the crankshaft rotates normally with the transmission in neutral, Also you need try accessing the diagnostic computer "Engine and ECT" and computer "HV ECU (Hibrid Vehicle)"...

    in the Data View, verify the RPM of the engine when the engine is Starting-Cranking, the RPM during the Cranking is over 100 RPM, else the CKP is the problem.
