Just a question to those whom have knowledge of this.

If you have a MaxiSys908P, what still are the extra's of a TS501 or TS601 (even more extended) above the TS401

For certain cars we can see live data and code TPMS sensors with the MaxiSys and activation of sensors seems to be working with the TS401 also. So what is the benefit of the 501 or the 601?

You ID the car,  activate the sensors , retrieve the data, plug the TS501 or TS601 into the vehicle OBD port and it goes straight to the module that is responsible  for the TPMS on the vehicle , just follow the menu and it edits the tire sensor positions on the vehicle without having to get a scanner, find the proper module on the vehicle and then have to type in the new positions using the scanner. TS 601 has a generic OBD2 scanner built right  into it to pull codes besides TPMS functions

so it is handy, but is it needed

I will see or the budget allows for TS501/601 then, already bought so many tools lately ....
