I'm really looking to update my AL519 that I just received today. I love the device, so much more intuitive than the Actron I had been eyeing. However, I can't update the device. When I start the MAXILINK2 program, it shows the device is connected, but when I try to install the files I DLed from the Autel site, it keeps telling me I have the wrong device. Is there a way to update the device? I couldn't register the device online because my device doesn't have a password and the device is not one of the options on the drop down menu. Hi, there is no need to register this tool on Autel website since it is not subscribed product. Before the update please connect this tool to computer and set it to Update Mode under Setting menu. Please try again and let us know if there is any problem. Thanks!

On the AL519, do you see the System Setup page? From System Setup screen in scan tool, use the UP/DOWN scroll button to select Update Mode, and press the OK button. -
