2002 Audi A4 no communication with ECU

     Mechanic shop replace ECU. Went to adaptation it to new pin. So I can work with the dashboard. But not communicating. It did earlier in the day cause I pulled the old pin. I need to change it to the new pin. The weird thing is I no cant get into Ecu or dashboard. Do you all have any ideas. I think it's a fuse or relay which I will check tomarrow

     Can you still get into ABS?

    Don't know or this is the same situation but at times Audio and VW you cannot get into ECU because ABS unit is clogging the system. Disconnecting ABS unit when trying to read the ECU will help then.

    Since you have replaced systems it might also be related to coding situations but I don't have much info for you on that.

     disconnect the battery for ten minutes and try again..
