I have problem with seat occupation sensor, and the airbag light is on. Can I disconnect this sensor using maxisys? I heard is it possible somehow reprogram airbag module and shut off the airbag light.

I do not believe you can reprogram the airbag module with the MaxiDAS and even if you could, I would be a be leary using a tool that is such a broad range tool.

I know you can often buy seat occupancy spoof modules that will spoof the SRS/Airbag module when the seat grid breaks. Might check ebay for these of do a Google search.

I know that I can buy some bypass for this sensor on eBay, but I heard that people
reprogramming the airbag module, and don't use any bypasses, don't need soldering or
disconnect the wires. So, I want to ask maybe somebody knows how to do it?

Hi, please try to use Maxisys Elite to do coding for airbag and seat module to check the result. If there is still problem, please upload a data log for us to check. Thanks!

I would first check the codes, if it says A- pillar malfunction, check the battery cables for corrosion. The maxysis can code it, but on certain years...mainly I have done this on 2005 or newer...The e83, and 53 models have limited coverage such as e46 with maxysis...
