    Hi all..

    I lost my 2008 toyota aurion (v6 camry) intelligent key.. I Purchased one from ebay and proceeded the programming.. 
    Everything was going fine and i made the immobilizer reset to reg. New key.

    I stuck on condition to says: make sure that smart cancel function should be off, i did not understand what does that means... so i turned off everything and left..

    Now i came back to complete the ignition was totally not working.. just the start button  lights on.. with no access.. i made a diagnosis and got the code B2289 key collation waiting over.

    Whats going on? And how can i fix this problem and how to program the key? I have autel maxisys pro.

     Was key from ebay new or used? If was used and not reset to virgin state you won't be able to program it to your car.

     You can have a try this function first "Smart Code Reset". If it still can't work, please collect a datalog for our analysis.

      Thank u for ur reply.. i did the smart reset.. then i got the error code B2289.. one more thing i want to clarify is i cant decode my vehicle vin no.. either automatically or manually by entering the vin.. the car is toyota aurion 2008 australian made.. im not sure if this linked to the problem.

    Would u help on this too ?
    Also im beginner in using autel and doesnt know how to log a record as mentioned.. would u tel me how to do that ??

    I am sorry, our engineer checked it carefully, but can't find the reason at present. We guess it is because this car is AU version, which can't be supported well. So sorry for that.

     I emailed autel AU.. And they confirmed that the only different between US and AU version is the "Holden" versions.
    And they confirmed that autel us should solve this issue for me..
    Im totally disappointed with this scanning tool. :-(
