even if you change the transmission, rear end, and everything else, it is still a fraud, but only if you lower it with the intention of deceiving the buyer into thinking the vehicle has less reading than the actual one. we sometimes change ipc, bcm and other modules that contains this information and odometer correction is needed, the customers does not want back a vehicle with a much higher or lower readings, in which case it is completely legal to correct it. I don't think autel's tools will ever have such functions, one will think but you never know. there are many tools out there for such task, google it.
