I don't think that is a function for maxisys.

even if you change the  transmission, rear end, and everything else,  it is still a fraud, but only if you  lower it with the intention of deceiving the buyer into thinking the vehicle has less reading than the actual one. we sometimes  change ipc, bcm and other modules  that contains this information and odometer correction is needed, the customers does not want back a vehicle with a much higher or lower readings, in which case it is completely legal to correct it. I don't think autel's tools will ever have such functions, one will think but you never know.  there are many tools out there for such task, google it. (I do not consent any illegal activities, check your local and country laws regarding odometer correction.)  this is intended for the original post , sorry, I'd replied to the wrong member.

When I had a check charging system warning message problem on a taurus  with a rebuilt alternator that was charging ok  I bought a used Instrument cluster from a 2005 Taurus from a car from the junkyard that digital odometer read only 88k at the junk yard with a power pack hooked to donor  vehicle cable clamps. When I  plugged the instrument cluster from the lower mileage donor car into the higher mileage Taurus , the instrument cluster still read the actual correct higher  134K mileage because the correct mileage displayed  was actually stored in the PCM or GEM module, not the Instrument Cluster.
