    On Volvo cars just work on obd2. ..only no abs,body,transmission, etc

    I have seen this kind of a problems many times with Volvo..........But, if you lock the vehicle using your remote fob and unlock it again live the engine running and try to communicate I am sure it will communicate with all the modules.................Good Luck
