    Looking to find out if programming a used bcm is possible using autel maxisys elite with j2534 vci on a 2011 Chevy cruze Ltd. Learning everyday

     nope you can not, however with the jbox (maxiflash j2534)  a laptop and a paid sub on line  you can. don't forget to do theft relearn after programming your bcm.

     Let us know how if the J box  works out, using it off your laptop with a purchased  OE subscription.

    Spent the evening setting up a virtual machine on my Surface Pro 3 to run Windows 7. GM Tis2web is weird about the operating system and Java. I was able to trick windows 10 and get the tis2 website to function, but it left open doors for security threats so I installed a VM and windows 7 just for programming. Once I got all that to work, I was able to load the J2532 tool and select it using the SPS programming app inside tis2web. It was after 9pm when I finished setting up so today I will attempt to program. Should work just fine.
