If it isn't a long tow to the nearest BMW dealer , you have a battery maintainer, and the customer has more than one working key and understands he may have to get it towed to BMW , I would try a Maxi Sys Pro with a current update subscription to program a used DME -

so i was able to successfully program the used DME but no luck syncing it with CAS. anyone able to do this successfully? -

That's cool. Watch this video and you might see something you missed. Also you may need a special BMW Ethernet cable for some models.

Interesting video. But for this 750i I'm working on I don't see cas/dme sync or calibration options anywhere and also in the video the guy doesn't mention wether the replacement cas was new or used im assuming they were using a new cas module. In my case I'm trying to use a used DME and autel programming runs through the process and does the injector calibration but skips out dme/cas sync. Any help from tech support? -

So without CAS sync , is the vehicle totally immobilized and wont start with the vehicle keys , or is it just the keyless entry part of the key fobs that are inoperative, and the car could still be driven to a dealer to finish the CAS alignment with the existing CAS module? -

can't be done with the maxisys. need to change isn coding before you can sync cas and dme. autohex is what you need for this job.
