     I called support but they wont answer or unable to.  I also tried their CHAT tool, but that appears to not work either.

    I am trying to update my AL319 tool.  I have the MAXITOOL II software loaded on my laptop and downloaded the update software for the tool.  It downloaded in a .RAR file extension, however the tool requires a .BIN or .AUT file.  There are no instructions for converting the .RAR file that I could find on their website to either of those extensions.  I even tried to download the file again, but it was the same file.  Has anyone run into this issue?

        You need to unzip the file first. If you have the Winrar program installed just right click the .rar file and click Extract to 2404061882ge 
    The above is an example for version 2404061882ge. It create a folder named 2404061882ge, inside you find the two files needed for the update.

      I downloaded the two files ie \302116019cc8\AL319EN_FR_DE_V1.04-V1.03\AL319_V1.04.bin and also downloaded 302116019cc8\AL319EN_FR_DE_V1.04-V1.03\AL319en_fr_deV1.03.aut. Into which update do I put each file. 1) Update Program 2) Update DTC. or does it matter and the program recognizes them and puts them where they need to go?

     NOTE: Please  select  the  bin  file  to  update  the  operating  system.
    After updating the bin file, please choose the aut file to update the
    DTC  library.  Both  the  bin  file  and  DTC  file  should  be  updated.
    Otherwise, the code reader cannot work properly
    Read page 19 and 20  on the user manual.
