I'm looking for some help in planning my M50B25 swap into a 318is coupe.

My current grasp of the situation is that i will need the following:

    Engine
    Loom
    ECU
    Ancilleries
    Radiator (and hoses)
    PAS pipes
    Engine mounts
    EWS Module and Key chips?
    Instrument cluster

My research has left me with a few questions that i'd just like to clarify 100%

    1. Will the ancillaries from the 1.9 fit the m50? i.e, if i bought the bare engine would i be able to utilise the pas pump and alternator already on the 1.9? I'm not bothered about air-con.
    2. Since my car is EWS II, using the m50 from a donor already with EWS II, do i require the module and chips or will it cross over? If i do need to take the EWS system from the donor car what are all of the components required? Ignition barrel?
    3. Research has told me the box from the 1.9 will bolt straight on to the m50 but my existing diff is made of chocolate. Is this correct? If so, will the original diff survive conservative daily driving for now?
    4. I'm confident that i'm right in thinking i should be looking for a non-vanos m50 as it removes a few complications that could arise when tuning further down the line. Any info?

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
