     I have a maxisys cv and the scanner does not have the option to choose ford as a model.

     LOL, I would call Support and ask . Did you already register it yet and check for available updates that may include the choice  to add the Ford App?

     Once I registered my unit, I updated all the things I wanted to and then Ford Chevy everything was available.
    My question is why is this forum so slow.

      I think they want people to give up and just go away by slowing things  to a crawl. Makes it hard to post about problems you encounter with the tools, limits posted complaints, and limits chance of getting help from another.I multitask on other forums while I wait for things to load up.

     Guys this Maxisys CV is a new tool and to make it be the best like other tools you need to send them the log files with a email telling them what the problem is so, it can be fixed in next updates....As we all know those kind of trucks are not found in China so there is no where they can test this tool its we the user of this tool can only make it better by sending them the log files,

    I normally do send they log files for most of new cars as they don't have euro cars so, they can improve the software.........

     If a thousand guys experience the same problem within a day and every one sends in the datalog about that specific problem, There is a Depcon 5 Chinese Wind Chime  alarm that goes off and every one jumps out of their beds in the middle of the night and reports to their Autel stations to find the Bug fixes. :-)
