Not generally any OBD1 cars can be scanned, but I have a OBD1 95 Ford Explorer with a separate OBD1 connector for PCM and a separate OBD1 style connector for 4 wheel ABS, then under dash it has a 16pin OBD 2 style connector that my DS708 will communicate with the  RAP and GEM modules if I manually select a 96 Explorer ,but wont communicate with any other modules.
