     i have a 2008 chevy silverado and want to reprogram the ecm for a replaced fuel pump control module. the scan tool doesn't seem to have the ability to do this. am I doing something wrong?

     You mean you installed a new fuel pump module and need to program it right? You will need to use the Jbox and subscription to GM's website.
