The Scanner Auto Scan function works OK on the Toyota car but when I tried to use the OBDII software, it shows "linking error". I tried to uninstall the OBII software and then re-install it again through Maxi PC Suite application but the result is the same. What could the possible reason for this ? If the Toyota car is on JBOD protocol and not OBDII compliant, why is it that the Diaglink scanner can communicate with the car ECU through the Toyota diagnostic software installed in the tool ? Is there a way to correct the failure of the OBDII software to work in this tool on Toyota cars ?
