When I enter the EPB, the MaxiCheck Pro identify the car correctly. It also is able to read live data in the EPB function (e.g. reading status of parking brake).

What does not work is to set service mode for EPB. When going into "special functions" and pressing ok to continue on information screen all I get is the error message: "Button check". Ignition is on (pos II) and voltage is above 12 V (I have checked while ignition is on).

I have found another thread with same error for a Volvo S60 (thread dated earlier this year). No answer on that thread :-)

So - does this product simply not work with Volvo? Or do I do something stupid? Any suggestions... please...

I had updated all modules including the EPB module for Volvo (current version is 6.21). The EPB did not work but returned the strange "botton count" error.

If you uninstall the EPB module and then install the same module again (still 6.21), then it works. I noticed some other user has the same problem some time ago... dont understand why Autel dont fix it...

PS. Sorry about this post being created multiple times... it appears this site is having some issues - one being you get an error when trying to create a new post - which tells you to try again a little later... I did that quite a lot of times... :-) I hope they will do something about that too - this site is almost useless with load times for a page close to 2 minutes... :-(
