    Did a engine swap on an auction car that had a blown motor. After replacing motor found no start and no communication with ecm using maxisys elite tool. Help?

     You must provide at least bare minimum information. What's the year, make  model and engine. On the data link connector, pins 4 and 5 should be ground, pin 16 must have 12 volts.
    You may have to check your power and grounds to the ECM.
