I already have the AL619 which is a good all purpose scanner, however it lacks a lot of the features I require when working on faults with European vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes and even Ford (Mondeo / Galaxy for example).

I really need to be able to complete tasks such as :-

Resetting ECU adaptations, sometimes known as learning adaptations

Resetting TCU (Transmission control unit)

Resetting Valvetronic actuators

Replacing or resetting electronic components such as Throttle Body or Transmissions

Test and actuate various components such as transmission solenoids, fuel pumps etc

Instigate DPF regeneration

The description on Amazon outlines that the MS906 can do most of the above mentioned tasks however the local distributors in Australia say it cannot.

There seem to be so many tools at Autel, it is hard to determine which choice to make.

Some websites (like Amazon or eBay) list multiple model numbers for the one device (DS808 / MS906 as the same device)

I just want something that is going to work; can be sourced in Australia and won’t give me long term headaches like no support. I look forward to your recommendation.
