There is no flashing on these tools. They are cheaper than the actual tools that have j2534 capabilities. That one sells for over 2-3k. What these tools do is sometimes you can do coding or resetting. That's about it. To ur last question, I'm sorry to say that you will have to use google and see a process. These places that teach stuff is tricky because they might teach you common stuff. I learned over the years everything on my own or watching videos.
