     I don't think but you still try if it fails than send the log files to tech support attache some notes explaining them the issue and they might send you bata version software only if they can so, try your luck.................

     In Function Viewer in the USA , I don't even see the Caprice model name  listed for years between 96 and 2012.  For Chevy Impala model I don't see Programmable module installation, Replace ECU or write VIN listed as a Powertrain option
