Hi guys, I have done a scheduled update on a BMW 118i e81 (2009) and now have a brake servo vacuum sensor fault. The fault was not there before the update and the car does not have the sensor as it is not a stop\start car!?!
Anyone got any idea how to program the DME so it does not think it has stop start?
    Thanks for your help ☺

Did you select auto vin before you start your updates...? did it decode the vin right.....? tried manual vin in put and decode the vin and see if it decodes same as auto vin..........and try updating it again....

Hi, thank you for your reply
I've spoken to the dealers today about another car and mentioned this issue to them.
Apparently the car is due a campaign update which is for retro fitting a brake vacuum
    sensor and programming!!
This is why the updated software has it in it
It's also due a timing chain check and replace if needed.
    All are free of charge!☺
    Taking it in on Monday
