    I have a 2018 Silverado trying to pump fuel out of tank with scanner keep getting device limit reached after 2 seconds any waybto override this it is 45 gallons of diesel and gas in the tank

    I usually jump the fuel pump relay to run the fuel pump and drain the tank.

    If I remember correctly, when this happens, you're suppose to switch off car, wait a few minutes and try again. Give it a shot.
