my new autel j2534 wont communicate with vehicle

     my new autel maxi flash elite wont communicate with vehicles at all I opened pc suit and it does not have any updates haven't made it work ever since I bought it. can someone give me some tips maybe im missing something

     Did you go to an OE manufacturer website and purchase a subscription and down load the software so you can communicate with the particular make vehicle? The J box is just the go between interface between the auto manufacturer's program accessed online by your PC and the vehicle.

     yes i did payed 40 just now trying to get it to work again still not able to make it work downloaded the techline connect software and it dosent seem to b able to communicate with the car now

     I had the same problem, resolved by downloading the Autel PC Suite. Reboot computer then the J2534 showed up into the Techline software.
