Do I need an active subscription to perform codings online?

     Hello, I'm trying to replace a Rear control unit on a Porsche Panamera. My scanner keeps coming up with a Network initialization failed error. Do I need an active subscription to perform these codings?

    Yes any online programming/coding you need to have a valid subscription........

     I have a valid subscription and still can’t code Porsche 

    Nothing but ecu auto backup has failed 
    Does Autel routinely charge for a subscription and not deliver what your being charged for.

    I wasn’t an extension of my subscription since this product us always unable to connect to servers. This has been verified by one of your support staff that connected into my scanner
