     2008 Ford F150 XL 4.2L V6 2wd 5speed stick.
    Howdy all.  I purchased this scan tool to deal with the stupid ABS light that I have on, hoping that I could clear it before taking it to get inspected.  
    I was able to find the codes and see where/what the problems were.  I tried to erase the codes, said it was successful, but the codes were still present and the ABS light still on.  What gives?
    I did an automatic scan of the vehicle and it came up with all the right data, including the VIN.
    Any thoughts?
