Maxisys Pro Decoding Fail on Chevy Express

     We have a 2011 Chevy Express Cargo here, a 1500 with the 4.3 liter.

    We replaced the ecu because there was a short.  When trying to get into the new (used) ECU it reads the vin fine but says vin decoding failed, and we have to go in manually.

    There are no programming options available, it seems like a limited menu.  Are most programming options simply not supported on these vehicles, or is it locked out because vin decoding failed?

     Thank you so much, had some issues with the software recognizing the VIC but finally ended up getting it working.
